To commemorate 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi students of Ryan International School Vasant Kunj participated in the ‘Student Solar Ambassadors Workshop 2019’ organized by Ministry of New and Renewable Energy in coordination with IIT Bombay at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, New Delhi on 2nd October. It was a historical attempt by students in India on 2nd October 2019 to create a Guinness Book of Record – Most people assembling solar powered lamps simultaneously in which 10,000 students assembled their own solar powered lamps.
