Ryanites named Acquifier Guardians consisting of Aniba , Anika, Jasreen ,Naina and Sonali unleashed their creativity and scientific thinking at the Climate Change Challenge held at COP28, the United Nations Climate Conference in Dubai launched by Burjeel Holdings and Said Business school and emerged as the Climate Change Champions with their topic “ Mitigating the Effects of Water Scarcity"
The Team was inspired by the vision of Chairman Sir Dr. A.F Pinto and Managing Director Madam Dr. Grace Pinto of being the leaders and Change makers of tomorrow. Acquifier Guardians were proclaimed the winners from among 600 teams, 8000 students and 43 participating countries. The judges lauded the project of the Acquifier Guardians as they felt that the team had actively involved others in a collective initiative to reduce the water footprint. The winners of the Climate Change; Team Acquifier Guardians will attend a tailored climate change programme next summer at Oxford University United Kingdom. Two more students Priyanshu Sharma of grade 10 and Congratulations to all the winners and achievers.
