The school celebrated Earth Day 2019 with grandeur and fervour. To mark the importance of this day, a special assembly was organised which was graced by the guest of honour Ms Iti Tyagi, founder of crafts village, who has been awarded the ‘Nari Shakti Puraskar’ by the “Ministry of women & child development” and Pragya Sharma, Secretary General of ‘Aqua Foundation’ which is working towards the conservation of Environment and water at global level. The celebration aimed at sensitizing the gathering to protect threatened and endangered species by reducing pollution and spreading awareness about ‘reduce, reuse, recycle and remove’ hazardous wastes to promote sustainable development through a riveting performance on the importance of five elements of nature.
