Girl Child Day

To celebrate this day we at Ryan International School, Goregaon (East), held a special assembly conducted exclusively by the girl students of the school along with an all girl member music band. A special session was organised by Mr. Cheetah Shetty to teach self - defense tactics to our girl students. We also had Ms. Arlene Theknath who runs an NGO called 'Saved Pearly Foundation'. She educated the girl students about female infanticide and the role of the foundation in order to saving the lives of girls at risk. The objective of the event was to empower young girls with knowledge about social issues so that they can grow up fight such issues and bring about a positive change
