Art Mela

The first edition of Ryan Art Mela was held at Ryan International School, Sector 40, Gurugram. Our Respected Chairman, Dr. A.F.Pinto and Managing Director Madam, Dr. Grace Pinto have always considered Art & Culture as a key learning that we impart at the institution; and the day was testament to the warmth and joy creative pursuits bring to our lives.

The amphitheatre was full of laughter, colours and artistic fervour. While one corner was dedicated to pottery, the other was busy with children trying their hand at clay modelling. From a caricature workshop, pot painting, colour blot painting and canvas painting to a long stretch of wall painting with the staff, alumni and visiting parents’ participating as enthusiastically as the children.

100+ children from neighbouring societies, play schools and even a few walk-ins enjoyed diving into all things art. All the participants were felicitated with a certificate and a token of appreciation. School Head, Ms. Anju Dudeja, who was also the curator of the programme, extended her heartfelt gratitude to all the guests.

We also hosted alumni from various batches, returning to their alma mater and enjoying the cultural extravaganza whilst diving into nostalgia. We at Ryan, always make it a point to recognize, uphold and promote creativity, it being one of the fundamental components of our belief system.

We are hoping to conduct many more events like this, to foster cultural nuance into the very thread of learning at Ryan International School.
