Environment Day Celebration at RIS Gurgaon

Earth does not belong to us, We belong to Earth.

Environment Month Culmination Assembly was conducted at Ryan International School, Sector-40, Gurugram.

This celebration was in sync with key vision of our respected chairman sir Dr. A.F Pinto, who is a crusader of saving environment.

The guest of honour for this special assembly was Mr. Vineet Vohra who is the operational associate of 'Give me Trees Trust' and is dedicated to save our environment. Through this special assembly, the students were sensitized about the importance of saving environment. The assembly began by seeking the blessings of the almighty through Lord’s Prayer followed by a special prayer for the mother Earth. The assembly continued by singing heart melting prayer songs with great pride and enthusiasm.

The young Ryanites presented the welcome speech for the guest in five different languages. To convey the message of saving our environment in a more realistic and effective manner, a Nukkad Natak was presented by the students of classes V and VI. Various ways were suggested by the students to reuse, reduce, recycle, re-purpose and refuse through the performances. The dance performance was the highlight of the special assembly which enthralled the audience, depicting the love for their Mother Earth and sensitising the audience to not to cut trees.

The main aim of the event was to motivate and spread awareness among the students on some of the ways to save Environment. Ryan International always works with a mission of fostering values of service and social responsibility so the assembly concluded with the feeling ‘Save all earth creations for future generations'.

The guest exhorted and motivated the students to take proactive steps in the conservation and care of the environment. He reminded the students that we have to maintain ecological balance by planting trees which will in turn help in our own sustenance.

School Head, Ms. Anju Dudeja complimented the efforts put in by every student. She also motivated the students to realize the importance of the message conveyed to them and to take a pledge to take care of our environment in each possible way and plant more and more tress. The program culminated by the rendition of the School Anthem followed by the National Anthem.
