‘A nation’s culture resides in the hearts and in the soul of its people’, said Mahatma Gandhi. To rejoice in the glory of our country and its heritage, the students, teachers, staff of Ryan International School were immersed in profound feelings of patriotism and reminisced the immoral leaders who made our country ‘sovereign, republic and secular democratic and brought Indian constitution into force. The chief guest and other dignitaries were given cordial welcome by the school NCC Cadets and school bands to grade the occasion. The revered chief guest unfurled the tri-color while the national anthem, Jana Gana Mana reverberated the whole campus and heightened the grandeur of the day. The eye-catching march past forwarded by the different house captains gave a nostalgic feeling to commemorate the devout soldiers who led us to the heaven of freedom. Students presented patriotic songs, dance and dance drama to replicate the theme of unity, harmony and peace and evoked nationalism within us.
