On 9th April 2025, our school had the privilege of inaugurating the brand-new cricket net. It was indeed a momentous occasion to celebrate a new beginning, a step towards progress, and a landmark moment marking a significant milestone in our commitment to nurturing the young talents. It was a great honor that the brand-new cricket net was inaugurated by the chief guest, Mr. Vidwath Kaverappa, an Indian IPL cricketer, a right-arm fast-medium bowler, and right-handed batsman who represents Karnataka in domestic cricket and the Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League. After the felicitation, the ribbon-cutting ceremony was held, wherein Mr. Kaverappa, along with his coach Mr. Samuel, held a demo session. Soon after the inauguration, an interactive session was held wherein all Ryan International Group of Institutions across India participated actively in the online session. The students from the Ryan International group of schools interacted actively with Mr. Kaverappa, and the session was lively by asking insightful questions, and they were answered by him. Mr. Vidwath Kaverappa advised students to develop discipline, dedication, hard work, and specific qualities like physical fitness, mental strength, good hand-eye coordination, and consistency to be a good cricketer.
