About
Ms. Anju Sharma, has been associated with Ryan International School, Ghaziabad since 1997. She did her schooling from Loreto Convent and Carmel Convent, Delhi and graduation in Science from Delhi University. Thereafter, she completed her post graduation in English and Education. She has also done a course on ‘Using Multiple Intelligence as a tool to help students learn’ from World Wide Web developed by Harvard University - Graduate School of Education.
She has been heading Ryan International School Ghaziabad as Principal since 2008. Prior to this she worked as a senior coordinator for almost a decade, where she learnt the nuances of administration. She presently manages a staff of 100 teachers and around 2600 students. She believes in team spirit and cooperation and endeavors to cultivate leadership skills among the children with an effective and innovative pedagogy.
Ms. Anju Sharma was a part of the 8 member delegation of Principals from all over India for the Familiarization Tour to Canada in 2011 wherein she visited 13 Canadian Universities and got first hand experience of the campus tour and the various undergraduate courses available for the children. Apart from this she also visited NASA, Florida, USA in 2015 with 39 Ryanites which enriched her knowledge and enhanced her leadership skills. Her PR and good communication skills are an asset to the school, as she believes that words create magic and have the power to impress others. She has been rendering her services as a Principal to bridge the gap between the community and the school, as the active participation of parents is a must for the progress of the institution.
During Ms. Sharma’s tenure, as the head of the institution, the school was accredited with the International School Award by British Council four times in succession. She believes in creating an atmosphere of cooperative spirit and fruitful interactions with parents, teachers and students, that focus with great clarity on what is essential, what needs to be done and how to get it done, to realize the vision of Academic Excellence and overall development of students which is the hallmark of the school. She has handled the responsibility in succession as the convener of the International Children’s festival of Performing Arts. She also strongly believes in the power of a leader to make a difference in a child’s life by empowering them with the ability to dream and strive to fructify those dreams.
