By common endeavour we can raise the country to a new greatness, while a lack of unity will expose us to fresh calamities. - Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel The students of Ryan International School, Noida amalgamated and celebrated National Unity Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. A speech was delivered sharing his great contribution towards the country. The students ebulliently participated in various activities including drawing competition, poem recitation, debate and essay writing. The NCC girls participated in a March Past while the members of the Student Council went in for the 'Run for Unity' at the Noida Stadium. On this special occasion, the students pledged to stay united and were encouraged by the Principal of the school, Mrs. Sumita Mukherjee, to stand with each other in any circumstances.
Ryan International School, Noida conducted the first ever Inter school IT fest enTECHed on 6th November 2019. Twelve schools from across the NCR had participated vigorously in seven various IT events. The Participants for the first time , witnessed an electronic opening ceremony where the participating schools had received a message from the Principal’s desk. Also the participants enjoyed the EDM which was played in the closing ceremony by the judge of Dj Mixing. The overall trophy of the event was won by Ryan International School, Mayur Vihar. The day was fruitful and full of challenges where the students and teachers of Ryan Noida were successful in making the event a grand success! The students got a lot of encouragement from the Principal, Ms Sumita Mukherjee who spoke inspiringly about the Event.

Ryan Noida Celebrated the 75th Birthday of their Chairman Sir Dr. A.F. Pinto on 28th August 2019 amidst great festivity, merriment and cheerfulness. A special prayer was said to seek the choicest blessings of Lord Almighty for Sir ‘Shower of blessings’ flowed with music and melody from everyone assembled to commemorate the auspicious occasion. Special wishes were shared by the students of all the wings of the school. The youngest mentees performed musical and lyrical presentations to wish a great time to their Mentor. The president of the school Sushant Jaswal and the Prime Minister of the school Puranjay Singh greeted Chairman Sir with great exuberance and expressed their love and regards to him for his great guidance and support. A series of activities were planned for the students to express their love to Chairman Sir through adopting his various ideals and vision. Some students went to orphanages and village Hoshiarpur to distribute goodies to the less privileged children.
Ryan International Group of Institutions organized their annual gala of learning and celebration of academical forte- INMUN 2019. Hosted by the Noida branch of the fraternity, the three day long conference was held from 26.09.19 to 28.09.19 at the magnificent SCOPE complex in New Delhi. It saw delegations from across the nation as well as debaters from across the globe.
The Seven Institute committees, comprising conventional ones like the General Assembly and Security Council alongside special ones such as the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and the Commission on Status of Women saw debaters bringing out their most analytical fronts.
Ryan Noida won the best country profile award for Italy .Umang Dhingra Std-X secured the first high commendation in UNCSW, representing the relief society. Jeevansh Gagroo Std-XII, Puranjay Singh Std-XII and Sushant Jaswal Std-XII also presided over as Vice Chairpersons in various committees. Managing Director of Ryan Group Dr. Grace Pinto and CEO Mr. Ryan Pinto extended their best wishes to all the delegates and encouraged them to be the leaders of tomorrow. The newsletters by the world press were the cherry on the cake that sealed the success of the 18th edition of the conference.

The 31 UP battalion Girls (NCC) From Ryan International School, Noida joined the Indian Government to participate in Swachh Bharat Mission and cleaned the area around Mother Dairy in Sector 39. They upheld the Prime Minister’s great cause of ensuring cleanliness and hygiene in the country and spread the message of self awareness and true effort to make it happen.
Ms. Shibani, the Head and Content Developer of Ryan TV- A Ryan media initiative, visited Ryan International School, Noida, on 09 August 2019 for the Young Directors’ workshop. The course covered the basics of creative short film making using a cell phone. The components were - Story conceptualization & Storyboarding, Lighting, Camera Operations, Framing & Basic Stop Animation. 63 students from the school participated and received a certificate of participation along with a media toolkit inclusive of Gorilla pod (flexible tripod) and clamp, 3 add-on lenses, a stylus, multi purpose pen and a course hand book for future reference. It was an enriching workshop for the budding photographers and videographers! Students were thrilled to put to use their newly received media kit and enjoyed learning exciting tips and tricks to create a short film using their phones.
The Independence day was celebrated at Ryan, Noida, with great patriotic fervour. Brigadier Gurpreet Singh Madhok, Sena Medal, Vishisht Seva Medal, graced the occasion and inspired the students. The programme commenced with seeking Lord’s blessings upon the country through reading verses from the Holy Bible and a special prayer for India. The Principal of the school Ms. Sumita Mukherjee welcomed the guest and the parents of meritorious students of classes X and XII of 2019 batch who accompanied their wards for the felicitation ceremony. She urged the students to take up duty with dignity and responsibility and emerge as kings and Queens to lead the world with humility. Welcome speeches were presented in English, Hindi and French by the students. An enactment was presented by the students of classes I and II to highlight the significance of the National Flag. An enthusiastic poem entitled “Hamara Bharat’ was presented by the students of class V. A beautiful semi classical dance presented on the popular song ‘Ae Vatan- Aabad rahe tu’ mesmerized the audience immensely.
The guest Brigadier Gurpreet Singh Madhok spoke glowingly about the students’ presentation and asked them to read about the success stories of the great founders and search within themselves to seek their deep rooted strength. He asked them to transform India and the world through perseverance and self confidence.
The students expressed their gratitude to the guest and felt grateful towards the Chairman of the school Dr. A.F. Pinto and M.D of the school Dr. Grace Pinto whose inspiring words and patriotism have always put them in great stead.
The students of Ryan International School, Noida celebrated Environment week from July 22, 2019 to July 26, 2019 and planted saplings around the school and their residential areas. The mission of instilling the green culture amongst students is an initiation by the Chairman of the school Dr. A.F. Pinto who is an ardent environmentalist and inculcates concern for the earth in every Ryanite. The Managing Director of the school Dr. Grace Pinto is consistently striving to keep the environmental issues a priority for all the school students so that we can retain ecological balance and preserve earth. Awareness was spread through various activities involving the students in debates, recitations, creative arts (poster-making, T-shirt painting, folder making) etc.,nature walk, environment march, quizzes and caring for the trees. The Principal of the school Ms. Sumita Mukherjee insisted upon the students to make this green venture a part of their daily life and never waste water or electricity and propagate the necessity of using public transport to save fossil fuel and protect earth from harmful emissions.
The CISF unit of DMRC, Delhi, headed by DIG Raghubir Lal, IPS, DMRC, gave a rare opportunity to the students of Ryan International School, Noida to plant 200 saplings in and around the school premises. Assisted by a contingent of 30 personnels under the leadership of Assistant Commandant, Pratik Saxena, of CISF, the Senior and Junior student council members and the class monitors of all the classes participated in this plantation drive and pledged to keep the environment clean and green. The plantation song “Plant a tree for your tomorrow” was sung by the students and a special prayer was said for the safe and congenial environment for all. The Principal of the school, Ms. Sumita Mukherjee too participated in this drive by planting a sapling and urging the students to always safeguard the environment in keeping with the motto of the Chairman of the school Dr. A.F. Pinto who is a celebrated and an ardent environmentalist of the country.
The students of Ryan International School, Noida were accorded a warm welcome on July 1st 2019 after their summer break. Showers of blessings were sought for the students and the teachers presented a warm welcome note to the students and said a special prayer for the well being of the students. The principal of the school Ms. Sumita Mukherjee urged the students to focus well on their academics and other activities and emerge winners. She asked them to remain hydrated and nourished during the hostile weather and remain strong and sturdy.

World Heritage Day was celebrated at Ryan, Noida on 18th April 2019 in the school premises. This International Day for Monuments and Sites is significant for India as it has several World Heritage sites and monuments. A number of placards and slogans were created by young students who held them up for everyone to see and note that our cultural and natural heritage are irreplaceable sources of life and inspiration. Students from various wings expressed their views on celebrating the rolling valleys, colourful meadows and grand buildings in our care. Speaking on the occasion , Sushant Jaswal (Std XII), the Vice President of the Student Council expressed that we must work together to protect the monuments and Heritage Sites as they are our identity and a testimony to the existence of our mighty ancestors. The Principal of the school, Ms Sumita Mukherjee reiterated her students’ views by referring to the Heritage sites as our touchstones and point of reference for us and the generations to come. She held the school’s Chairman, Dr. A.F. Pinto’s view that our cultural heritage is our landmark, a cherishable value reservoir to be preserved and cherished by all.

The students and the staff of Ryan International School, Noida came together to hold their Investiture Ceremony on 08th May 2019 amidst the presence of eminent guest Col. Anil Pandit an eminent officer who has served the country with great strength and courage.The election for the school council was held on May 1st, 2019. All the students from classes VI to XII got an opportunity to exercise their right to franchise. 40 newly elected school council members were inducted during the Investiture ceremony in which the Principal of the school Ms. Sumita Mukherjee bestowed the badges of honour and responsibility to the new leaders. Sushant Jaswal was inducted as the President of the school, Shivangi Srivastava was given the post of Vice President, Puranjay Singh was given the office of the Prime Minister and Shreya Singh took over as the Deputy Prime Minister of the school.

Ryan International School , Noida came together to celebrate World Earth Day on April 22, 2019 through myriad conservation activities planned for the day. It was a great day to showcase environmental awareness and engage the whole student community in doing their bit to make a difference. A soulful rendition of Prayer song and Earth Song during the morning assembly led by the school choir left everyone mesmerized. Banners and colourful charts made by the students were put up which read ‘’ Go Green'' and “Plant a Tree Today”. Students put forward their thoughts in speeches in English and Hindi and vowed to prioritize earth’s protection. A Nukkad Natak was presented to alert everyone about the harmful effects of pollution and the necessity to save trees, water, electricity etc. A quiz was presented by the Primary wing students to help segregate waste into biodegradable and nonbiodegradable waste. The students took an oath to always conserve and preserve Mother Earth with complete devotion. The Principal of the school Ms. Sumita Mukherjee urged the students to follow the “Environment Oath” with their complete devotion and uphold their Chairman Dr. A.F. Pinto’s ideas of saving Earth by planting a sapling on their birthday and other special days.
12 students of Ryan International School, Noida participated in the Teen Camp, which was held at Hotel Sahara Star, Mumbai from 1 April to 5 April 2019. The students had a marvellous time participating in various contests like Fashion Show, State Dance, Street Play, Shark Tank, Photography, Personality Pageant and Retro Dance. They bagged the third prize in the Fashion Show. Besides showcasing their talent, they also had a chance to enjoy the various interesting tourist spots like Juhu Beach, Gateway of India ,Worli Sea Link and Bandra Bandstand. Students also had a day long adventurous experience at Adlabs Imagica. It was a fantastic exposure for our enthusiastic Ryanites. The Students were extremely delighted with the presence of Honourable Managing Director Madam and CEO Ryan Sir amongst themselves and are highly grateful for this wonderful platform.

Nothing can be done without hope and confidence.’–HelenKeller The Felicitation Ceremony 2018-19 for Class VI to VIII was held at Ryan International School, Noida on 12th April, 2019. The beautiful day began with the Bible Reading, Special Prayer and the Lord’s Prayer. After invoking blessings from Lord Almighty, the young Ryanites showcased their singing and dancing skills to the exhilarated parents. The Principal of the School, Mrs. Sumita Mukherjee welcomed the parents and appreciated the efforts of the students and wished them good luck for their future endeavours. Followed by this warm reception, the Principal presented the Scholar Ties to the meritorious students for Excellence in Academics and Awards to the students excelling in various categories including Star Performer Award for Sports, Oratory Skills Award, Maximum Participation in International and National Events, Nimble Feet Award for Dance, Nightingale Award for Singing, Technology Savvy Award, Avid Readers Award, Maths Whiz Kid Award, Instrumental Virtuoso Award, Creative Hand Award and the All Round Best Student Award. The ceremony concluded with the Vote of thanks and applause by the parents which made the day a memorable one.
“Be the Change '', the Montessori Graduation and Junior Fest 2019 was held at Ryan International School, Noida on 23th February 2019 at the school premises. The annual event that marked the graduation of Montessori - III students, with the granting of degrees to the Tiny Tots by the eminent guests was well applauded. The young Ryanites welcomed the guests in English, Hindi and Punjabi. The eminent guests who graced the occasion were Mr. Indra Vikram Singh (IAS), Additional CEO, Noida Authority, Wg. Cdr. Saxena, Mr. Alok Jaipaty, Entrepreneur, Motivational workshop conductor, Ms Anjali Mudgal, TV Anchor, Sahara News, Mr. Mohit Kumar, an eminent Singer, Mr. Kunal Jaiswal, TV Anchor, News 18, Mr. Pandit Sunil Kant Saxena, a well known Sitarist and Mr. Naman Sharma, a renowned young Doctor( an alumnus of Ryan Noida). The show encompassed the glory of childhood in the form of a musical entitled “Pirates Vs Mermaids'', a prayer dance that awed the audience and a ‘Toy band’ that set the spectators swaying merrily as the little ones played various musical instruments deftly and in perfect sync.
Siddhik Sharma of M-III E was crowned as Ryan Prince and Amishi Sinha of M-III A was crowned Ryan Princess. The guests and parents were completely mesmerised by a harmonious Orchestra presentation by the students. A vote of thanks was presented in English, Gujarati, French and German in coherence with the vision of the Chairman of the Ryan Group of schools, Dr. A.F. Pinto who believes in empowering the students with multilingualism.
The Principal, Ms. Sumita Mukherjee, felicitated the young graduates and expressed her adulation for the young performers who had brought the stage alive with their glowing presentations suggesting the change they would bring about in the World. Children are our greatest treasure and the gifts of the Lord. To recognize the talents of the students of classes I & II, an award ceremony was held at Ryan International School, Noida on 5th April, 2019. The programme began by evoking the Lord Almighty’s divine blessings which was followed by a mesmerizing performance by the melodious school choir who showcased their talent through praise and worship songs. The programme was much appreciated by the parents. The school Principal, Mrs. Sumita Mukherjee felicitated the deserving students with a trophy and a certificate that motivated them to develop good values along with their potential. The event highlighted unveiling the varied talents of the students and the same was recognized at the beautiful award ceremony.
Students of classes III to V were felicitated for excelling in academics and various co curricular activities. The parents of the recipients of various awards were invited for this special occasion. The programme commenced by invoking the blessings of our Almighty Creator. Students read the passage from the Holy Bible which was followed by a special prayer. A prayer dance was performed by the students of the primary wing. Principal Mrs. Sumita Mukherjee welcomed and thanked the parents for their constant support. Trophies and certificates in different categories like All round best performance, Ryan scholar’s award for academic excellence, Nimble feet, Nightingale award star performer sport award to name a few were presented to the students.
The meritorious students of classes IX and XI who got promoted to classes X and XII were acknowledged in the school on March 11, 2019 for their outstanding efforts in the field of academic and co-curricular activities. They were felicitated in the presence of their parents who felt proud of their wards and expressed their gratitude to the school for enabling them to witness the great moment. The students expressed their gratitude to the Chairman Sir, Dr A. F. Pinto and Managing Director Madam Grace Pinto for enabling them to excel in various fields through their immense motivation. The principal of the school Ms. Sumita Mukherjee appreciated the students for being exemplary in various activities at school.
On the great occasion of Teachers Day, wishing a very Happy Teachers Day to our great mentors, Founder Chairman, Dr. A. F Pinto and Managing Director Madam Dr. Grace Pinto for their constant support and guidance for the future citizens of the country. The celebration commenced with a prayer song by the school Choir. A special message was read by the Principal on behalf of Chairman Sir and Managing Director Madam who wished the teaching fraternity a very happy teachers day. The students of classes I and II presented an enactment dedicating it to their teachers. The students of Class XII presented foot tapping dance numbers. The Principal Ms. Sumita Mukherjee addressed all the teachers with her inspiring words and thanked all of them for their diligence, sincerity and hard work and urged them to continue their efforts. Officials from HDFC Bank came to felicitate the teachers and presented them with an appreciation certificate. A memorable day dedicated to all educationists.
