On 21 st December 2019 celebrating Christmas with great pomp And the show has been an age old custom. The school was decorated with colours and flavours of this season creating a perfect ambience for the celebration, with a huge Christmas tree in its fullest, ushering everyone entering the premises of the school with a smile on their faces. A tableau and skit depicting the birth of our saviour Lord Jesus Christ was performed which spread the message of Love, Joy, Peace and hope.
Hosted by Ryan International School, Nerul and organized by Ryan International Sports Club under the leadership of its Chairman Dr. A. F. Pinto since 1998, the 175 th edition of the race was held for boys and girls in four age groups (u/12, u/14, u/16 and u/18) with a vision to promote fitness as a way of life by inculcating Love for sports’. It was one of the largest minithons for the school students in the country which witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 13000 students of 16 different schools of Mumbai.
At Ryan International school, Nerul, Sports day was celebrated on Wednesday, the 4th December, 2019. Ryan Shalom Montessori, Ulwe joined us too. The entire day was a huge success with some amazing performances, results and frolicsome atmosphere. The participants included the students from the Montessori and Primary section. With great zeal, enthusiasm and expertise they played with utmost sportsmanship and came through with flying colours. The mascot was flagged off and torch was also lighted by our youngest trekker of Maharashtra Ms.Harshiti Bhoir of Mont II and Mst. Nirmey Kule Chess Player of Std I ,soon after a series of games were played
Celebrating Christmas is celebrating the gifts of Love, Joy and Peace that Jesus came to give and tell us that we are all Gods loved children and that through giving and forgiving that we can be reconciled with one another. During this Christmas Chairman Sir encouraged to engage in acts of kindness towards family members, reach out to those in need especially the less fortunate share the gift of your time and talents and give service to make Christmas a meaningful experience.
At Ryan International School, Nerul, on the 18th of November,2019, it was, "Mickey Mouse in the house." The ever young and vibrant tiny tots from the Montessori, were bubbling with joy and excitement. Our young and dynamic Ryanites, the Montessori kids, to mark this day, had come dressed up in the attire of Mickey Mouse. The premises of the school was enlivened up as the tiny tots were enthralled by everyone. The idea was to have fun and entertainment along with developing soft skills among our kids.
The tiny Ryanites of Montessori Section were excited as they celebrated the day by carrying healthy tiffins for themselves. The Primary Section had a special assembly where they enacted an informative skit. The theme of the skit was to inculcate the good habit of having a well-balanced and nutritious diet. The children had a wonderful time as the skit was both entertaining and enlightening. Std V and VI enjoyed making a collage of well balanced meals. The topic of the activity was “Good Nutrition starts with my plate”. The Secondary students from VII to IX also had sandwich making activity. The main focus of this day was that food is a basic and fundamental Human right.
With an aim to spread joy and happiness, Ryan International School, Nerul, had organized Dandiya and Garba on the 5th of October, 2019 to mark the ongoing Garba Day. This occasion gave an opportunity to the parents to gyrate to the tune of Guajarati folk songs It was flawless with extraordinary light, spectacular music and surprising gifts for enthusiasts. Prizes were given to different categories. Parents enjoyed the core. It was a spectacular visual delight for everyone to see and relish Garba.
The month of August gives us the fervor of patriotism. The school was decorated with tri colours. A variety of programme was held to let the students know how our soldiers sacrificed their lives to provide safety for us. The love for the nation was portrayed by dressing themselves as freedom fighters.

Ryan International School, Nerul had a fun day “Rain Dance”. The youngest of the Ryanites had the opportunity to enjoy the splash of water the students were protected with their raincoats and were in a fun mood splashing water on each other. The idea of “Rain Dance” was to provide the Montessori students develop respect for nature and also to enjoy the monsoon season. This innocence of the little ones filled each one of us with joy.
Waters! Waters! Waters! A cry from everyone and yet we are so ignorant towards our oceans!!! To create this awareness the Montessori, STD I and II students of Ryan International School, Nerul celebrated “World Ocean Day” on the 28 th of June 2019 It was a very fun filled and informative day. To make the day more lively and colorful a unique fashion show was held in which the students of Montessori and STD I & II dressed up as various Sea creatures. The students looked amazing in their creatively made costumes. The program ended with a small video for students through which they were given the message of banning plastic and how the principle of the 3R’s Recycle, Reuse, Reduce should be made the motto of everyone’s life
Experiencing the holistic approach to health and well being International Yoga day was celebrated on 21 st June 2019 at Ryan International School, Nerul recognizing the ancient Indian Science’s holistic approach to health and well being with great enthusiasm and fervor. The guest of honour were Mr. Ramu T.A Yoga Expert who guided the teachers, students with the asanas. The Principal of the school Mrs. Janet Aranha quoted that exercises are good for all and all should try to be fit as a fiddle.
Junior KG student treks to state’s highest peak, now eyes on Mount Abu Four year old Ms.Harshiti Bhoir of Mont II a student of Ryan International School, Nerul has climbed the State highest peak Kalsuba (1,646m) in Satara District in 3hrs 35 minutes along with her parents on 8th June 2019. She had earlier trekked to Raigad Fort, Karnala Fort, Asherigad Fort, Shri Vardhangad Fort and many others. Mount Abu will be her next target.
The “GRADUATION DAY” for the kindergarten students is one of the most important days and is the stepping stone to many more graduations in their life. It is the day when the students from the pre-primary section graduate to the primary section, when their little world widens and opens up to the real world. Ryan International School, Nerul is one of the schools which help in shaping up a child’s future for a better tomorrow. The theme for the Graduation Day 2018-19 was ‘Be The Change’. The event proceeded with enthusiastic dances from each Mont class. Each child was made to participate, encouraging the spirit of participation. The Musical skit “ Pirates and the Mermaids” was enacted by the Montessori students. The Musical Skit was an excellent performance by the Montessori students. The teachers’ efforts had paid off well for the tiny tots springing about on the stage in their colorful dresses had received a lot of appreciation and applause.
On 10 th March 2019 students got an opportunity to meet India’s most iconic personality Shri Amitabh Bachchan. The students were inspired by his dedication, perseverance and hard work and aspire to be shining stars of future India.It was indeed a joyful moment for all the students and council members to interact with Mr.Amitabhji and hear his success story.
Ryan International School, Nerul celebrated REPUBLIC day with the Primary and Secondary section with great pomp and show.The whole school had the aura of patriotism. Students showed their love for the country by different dance performances. The dances by the students stole the show and received applause. The patriotic song with the little ones dressed as leaders filled us with the spirit of Patriotism. Prizes were given to the deserving students. 3. Education as a means for building a Robust India Education has the power to transform lives. Therefore it needs to be on the top most agenda of the country. It is time to focus on 21 st century skills such as ability to collaborate, team work, critical thinking skills, communication skills, usage of technology and social responsibility.
At Ryan International School, Nerul Father’s day was celebrated with great pomp and show in the school auditorium. There were various games held for the fathers and also for the father child duo. There was flameless cooking which was thoroughly enjoyed by the fathers and their children. The sight of the fathers cooking food in itself is unusual and the same was sensed here. Later, the father child duo tapped their feet and moved and grooved to the tunes of peppy songs. It was a sight of entertainment and at the same time the father child bond was seen to be strengthening. Thereafter, the creative side of fathers was exhibited through art and craft where they came up with the best of the drawings and amazing works of craft. Most of them expressed through their work, their relationship with their children. At last, we had fun games like bombing the city and balloon bursting competition. The programme concluded with Prize Distribution where every father was crowned to make them feel the greatest father in the world. It was a day well spent seeing the smiling faces of fathers and their children and the celebration was a huge success.
At Ryan International School Nerul, traditional day was celebrated on 5th January, 2019. The Montessori children made up the most wonderful lot and so do our budding youngsters. Getting to know the difficulties faced by the parents of our blooming buds, we at Ryan, couldn’t resist helping them out. This event not only gave them fruitful time to be spent with their children but it also gave them a memorable experience. The parents who had dressed up glamorously looked no less than the glitterati of the tinseltown. The smiles on the faces of their children were priceless. Astonishingly, the parents did a fantabulous job by setting the ramp on fire during the fashion show. It was a huge success as we saw a different kind of joyous bonding among parents and the lovely tiny tots.

It was a great moment for Ryan International School, Nerul to observe Watermelon Day. It was a time when the little ones were excited to get watermelon in their lunch box. The teachers shared the benefits of having watermelon.
A Magic show was organized in the premises of Ryan International School, Nerul for the students of Montessori to STD – II. The show was organized by Mr. Sudheer Singh. He performed many tricks and illusions that made children and teachers watch him in rapt attention and excitement. The magic words and actions kept everybody astounded. The students and teachers kept guessing as how the trick worked. All of them could not stop clapping as he unfolded his magic tricks one by one. It was a great success and the students enjoyed it a lot.
