Children's Day was marked with grand splendor and fiesta as the school campus of ST. Xavier High School, Raipur buzzed with excitement and joy as it was a day wherein fun and frolic dominated. To commemorate the 129th birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and inculcate the virtue of moral values love and care which is one of the visions of our chairman sir Dr. A.F. Pinto.
The programme began with a special assembly conducted by the teachers followed by informative and inspirational speeches by teachers and students. Our Principal Ms. Dilsheed Manchanda in her address encouraged students to be good human being, dream big and work hard.
Various activities were organized for all classes such as Art competitions, singing and dance competitions. The classes were decorated by the teachers and the class incharges made Children’s Day greeting cards for their students, distributed cakes and chocolates to them. Students greatly enjoyed it as the day was full of joy and laughter for them.
