St. Xavier’s High School Raipur took the initiative of conducting a week dedicated to the Environment day which is celebrated on 5th June. Various activities and competitions were held throughout the week. Activities included poster making for environment conservation and debates regarding the use of renewable and non renewable resources. The winners of these competitions were also awarded. These events helped motivate the children from keeping the environment clean and safe from pollution as well as helped them think about various ways to reduce these pollution and other problems. The environmental week celebration ended with an energetic closing ceremony on 8th September. The occasion became more wonderful by the presence of dignitaries who were the alumni of the school. Students were felicitated for their great performances in school activities and competitions held during the entire week. Children learnt and understood our Chairman Sir’s Vision of ENVIRONMENT. The entire week helped the children to learn and understand about the role of environment and why it is important for people to take initiatives to save the environment
