5th September every year is celebrated as Teacher’s Day to honor the birth of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a great teacher and philosopher. At St. Xavier’s High school Raipur, this teacher’s day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and zeal. Students of Std. XI and XII organized anamazing event to show their gratitude towards teachers. Students welcomed the teachers with greeting cards thanking them. The program started with the message by our honorable Madam Dr. Grace Pinto wishing all the teacher Happy Teacher’s Day. The program continued with beautiful performances by students. One such performance was given by students of Std XII in which they enacted and recreated a classroom scenario. Fun filled games were also organized for teachers, winners were also awarded. The day came into an end with a thank you note by students. Students learnt team work and leadership, various performances by them boosted their confidence to come up to the stage and lead it. The different performances represented Chairman Sir’s vision of ART AND CULTURE. The gratitude by the children for the teachers represented Chairman Sir’s Vision of VALUES.
