Because there are no words that could describe how thankful and fortunate I am to be a Ryanite. Remember, “Opportunities never happen, you need to create it.” That’s what being a Ryanite taught me in this competitive world. School life is the best part of your life and I can guarantee you that you will regret growing old. It teaches you to be a better version of yourself. You learn from your mistakes. You cherish every moment out of the classroom you spend with your friends and lovely faculties. Life is always going to be about learning. School life is but a preparation to face the challenges that the bigger school called world will offer us once we are out of our schools. They shape our character, mould our mental attitudes, and fashion the basic principles of life. From representing your school at a National level science competition to chess tournaments, it is your biggest achievement in identifying your passion. From sports lecture to holding the house flag during the drills, it is your first step in developing your leadership and communication skills. I am thankful to every faculty who helped me in building the best version of myself. One thing which I would like to add to our chairman’s message: “I Can, I will and I must be a winner and you must RISE. RISE-Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excellence), the four pillars of life which you must learn in school.
Firstly I would like to introduce myself, My name is Rushikesh Sambhajirao Deshmukh Im currently a MBBS student! I was a student of Ryan international school JALNA. I joined this school in 2008 in 5th grade and 2014 was the year when i passed my 10th board. For me coming from a smaller town (Sindkhed Raja) it was quite a big deal to get admitted in such a reputed school! So initially I was a bit low, thinking of how Im going to survive this totally new Atmosphere. But it was just for a few days after getting to know the ethics and the frank and friendly behaviour of the teaching staff. It was a great journey for me. Great academic years came along. I secured good ranks in Yearly exams and also many competitive exams back then (Olympiads, Holy Faith International, Various district competitions etc.). Besides academics, the best thing which the school inculcated in me was the SPORTSMANSHIP. I got the chance to play sports at various levels. My Favourite sports being Football and Cricket. I also attended a State Level Ryan Football Tournament held in Goa. Also I played Cricket and other sports (basketball, chess, etc.) both at Divisional levels! RIS, Jalna particularly focussed on the overall development of every student. It was because of the provisions of musical instruments in school that I learnt to play a couple of instruments too (Drums and Congo). Also the very important thing which I will never forget to mention is The LEADERSHIP skills, which the school administration inculcated in me. They were very helpful for me to be what Im today. I was nominated as the PRESIDENT of SCHOOL PARLIAMENT for the academic year 2012-13 and also the OPPOSITION MINISTER for the next academic year 2013-14. And it gave me a close experience of what it is like to be, to lead and to make differences with your thoughts! Last but never the least, I would also like to thank Dr. A.F. PINTO sir, the chairman of Ryan Group of Institutions for giving us the Mantra of following his 12 POINT VISION which has definitely helped me to be a better human in every aspect of my life. I feel Gratitude, sharing this to every person out there! And also I would like to express my gratitude towards the whole Ryan Group of Institutions, especially RYAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL JALNA! And Also a special Thanks to MISS SARA for giving me this opportunity to share my school experience shortly!!
